NaNoWriMo Day Thirteen

So, to keep things recapped, I’ve got almost 40k words. That means I’m 10k (about three days) from hitting the NaNo goal, and then I’ve got about another 30k minimum until I actually finish my novel.

What’s happened in To the End of the Earth since I last updated you all? Well, I just wrote a battle scene, SOMEONE just said the words, “I love you” for the first time, and the most adorable character ever got a black eye in a fistfight, but his opponent came away with a split lip. My rebels are on the move once again, and two characters who were so insignificant that they didn’t even get names are dead (okay, two plus about fifty). There’s an epic knife battle (epic might be an overstatement but it felt really epic while I was writing it). OH, and there are drunken and confused confessions of one of the major players in the top of the governmental pyramid.

Are you excited yet?

I am. I’m very excited.

In related news, I’ve reminded Natalie Cannon that she has the second round of To the Death to edit, so maybe she’ll get to that over break or something. Love you, dear.

Cheers,

C

  1. I APOLOGIZE FOR MY LIFE DO YOU ACCEPT FLOWER APOLOGY OFFERINGS OR…I can send you what I’ve edited so far, which is up to…Chapter 11? I’m like halfway done. I have some free time these next couple of days so…I’ll work on it. I have (re)discovered that the Cube is one of the comfyiest study places ever, so I will use it as an excuse to invade!
