My Second Victory

The first victory was the finishing of the novella.

The second victory is the finishing of the novel.

THAT’S RIGHT, at three thirty PST last night, I FINISHED MY FIRST NOVEL. Now I have to put it through edits with Natalie, revisions, test reads w/ friends, etc. Then I have to write a query letter. That’s my next goal. I also plan on starting the sequel soon, and I got an idea for a fantasy novel…

Muse, whoever you are, can you hold off the ideas for a bit??? I promise to write down this one and make a note of it, but I’ve got notes EVERYWHERE and my organization of ideas is crumbling.

Anyway, on that note, the first draft of the novel is finish, so now I can focus once more on the formatting of the novella and finally get that thing online! When the ebook is purchasable, I’ll put a link up, of course! The novel’s likely to take longer, but I’ll keep you posted on developments.

Today I’ve got to get started on some fan fiction writing for a co-authored piece (it’s my turn to write a chapter and I’d like to do it promptly), start writing my query letter, do a bit more planning of my sequel, and start making notes on the fantasy novel. 😀 So exciting.

Cheers!
